Peugeot L500 R Hybrid car embraces the black-top to convey its maximum capacity right from pullaway. With its wide track, low profile (only one meter high) and light weight (1,000 kg), this hybrid car is made for execution: there’s nothing more needed than 2.5 seconds to achieve 100 km/h from stop, and 19 seconds to cover 1000 meters. Developped by Peugeot Sport groups, the 500-bhp module half and half petrol powertrain highlights two electric engines (one front and one back) in addition to a 270 hp petrol motor, yielding crest torque of 730 Nm.
The Peugeot L500 R HYbrid dashing auto is intended to be unified with its driver, driving sensations are increased by a driver compartment purposely intended to frame an individual coasting case encased in the bodywork. Through a planned idea, the Peugeot i-Cockpit innovation takes a radical motorsport position, with a little guiding wheel installed in the structure and two 3D images demonstrating data in double circle shows.
“With the Peugeot L500 R Hybrid car we’re paying tribute to PEUGEOT dashing endeavors dating to the mid twentieth century. Motivated by this soul of execution and development we needed to pass on a sculptural, rich and mechanical perspective without bounds of Peugeot engine sport”, clarifies Matthias Hossann, Peugeot’s idea auto and innovative development boss.
